Exhibitions
Guild members are offered many opportunities to share their quilts including the following exhibitions:
- Annual Guild Challenge - a travelling suitcase exhibition open to all Guild members;
- Contemporary Quilt Textiles - a biennial juried exhibition of contemporary quilt textiles presented in partnership with the Manly Art Gallery. The next exhibition will be held from 27 April to 4 June 2012;
- Fertile Imagination - a fabric challenge for members arranged by the Guild in conjuncion with Expertise Events. These quilts will be featured at the 2012 Craft and Sewing Shows at Rosehill and Newcastle and the Guild meetings in March and May. See the challenge page for entry information; and
- Sydney Quilt Show - an annual members' exhibition presented in conjunction with the Craft & Quilt Fair at Darling Harbour. The next exhibition is 13-17 June 2012.
Is your Guild membership up to date?!
Remember, to enter a quilt in the Sydney Quilt Show or to participate in Art to Wear, you must be a member of the Guild for the financial year. Membership is due 1st July each year for the year ending the following 30 June.
